3 weeks left
I weigh 125lbs and my Abs are 33.5 inches, Waist 35.5, Tummy is 36.5, bringing my total to 23lbs and 16.5 inches off my mid section, since last November!!!
Last week I bought a pair of size 2 (26) jeans! Today I tried on a pair of size 0 dress pants at work, and even though the fabric is stretchy, not only did I put them on, I did them up too! Ask me how excited I am? Ecstatic!
Seems that going to the gym regularly, eating healthy and drinking water really is paying off!
With 3 weeks left to go, I know that loosing 7lbs is not healthy to reach my goal of 118lbs, but I know that I am still working hard at it and it will come. I will do my best in these last 3 weeks to see what I am capable of!

6 Weeks Left
I weigh 127lbs and my Abs are 34 inches, Waist 36.5, Tummy is 37, bringing my total to 21lbs and 14.5 inches off my mid section!!!
My goal is still the same: in 6 weeks, November 11, 2011, I will weigh 118lbs! That means, a year after my blog post, I will have lost 28lbs. (November 22 I was 148lbs, making my total loss 30lbs!)
I still find time to lift weights 3 times a week, do 1/2 hr of Zumba and as much rock climbing on Tuesday nights as I can, and get cardio in on the other days: bike riding, walking or running.
In addition to eating healthy and drinking water, I am going to start to use my 'house' more. I have stairs that I can run up and down and while watching my lil man play, I can do leg lifts, crunches, yoga stretches and other basic exercises. In the basement, I have a deflated ab ball that I should re-inflate, a night time yoga video and an 8lb hand weight. Mixing up my workouts should get me passed this plateau and get me closer to my goal!

Checking In
I weigh 128lbs and my Abs are 35 inches, Waist 37, Tummy is 37.5.
That means since Nov 22 2010 I have lost 20lbs and 12.5 inches off my mid section!!!
Now, I realize that I was 128lbs back on April 11, but now my measurements are smaller too! (and I won't be going back up into the 130-135lbs range this time either.)
My new goal will be: in 8 weeks, November 11, 2011, I will weigh 118lbs! That means, a year after my blog post, I will have lost 28lbs. (November 22 I was 148lbs, making my total loss 30lbs!)
This date is super important to me, not only would it be exactly a year later, but it marks the 1 year 'anniversary' of meeting someone very special. This person really got myself back into gear. Not only working out and eating healthy, but feeling confident, strong and sexy.
I thought that it would 'do us proud' by achieving this amazing goal that was put into motion. What a perfectly awesome gift!
This goal should be easy to attain as I am rock climbing regularly, still go biking with my lil man, lift weights, dance when I can and have started to run! (Back on Canada Day weekend, at a hotel out of town, I decided to run on the treadmill. The rest is history.)
I'm eating much healthier now as well. I've been packing lunches and snacking on veggies. Now I need to drink more water!

5 weeks left in this round...
... and I am a bit frustrated! Over the last 9 weeks I haven't lost any more weight, in fact I've been between 130 -135. This is not where I wanted to be at this point! For now, I will settle for being my pre-pregnancy weight (124lbs) for my 30th Birthday in 5 weeks.
I have been getting more hours at work, which means that I am not getting to the gym to do my weights. However, at night I have been biking with my son in the carrier, trying to work up to getting all the way to the day home. I did join the Climbing Club that uses the Y's rock wall and have been going every Tuesday night for 4 weeks now. It feels great to be back into it!
Also, a few ladies and I have been going for walks, weather permitting, twice a week. It is great to connect with them and work out at the same time. Sure beats sitting and eating while catching up!
Food continues to be a bit of a struggle. I try to make healthy choices and pack my lunch. I still notice that if I cut up and prep veggies and fruit, I will eat it. The trick is making time to prep it! Some times I wonder if I am eating enough food in a day to match what I am burning off. Perhaps I'll start logging what I eat and how much I work out on a calorie counter online...

The end of this round and the start of another!
It's official: I now have a 2 year old boy! Also, I have lost 20lbs! Woo hoo!!!
Now, it's not as much as I wanted to loose at this point, (I'm 128lbs instead of 125lbs) but I'll take it! My next challenge is to loose 8-10 lbs to be 118-120lbs by my 30th Birthday on August 9, which is in 14 weeks.
With the warmer weather, I plan on biking to the day home with little guy in the carrier, to work and back home again. In addition, I hope to get back into rock climbing! The Y in the Hat has a wall and evening babysitting, so it should work out ok. The Hungarian Folk Dancing seems to continue to make me dizzy and nauseous. I will try ballroom dancing this round on my Calgary weekends instead.
It is nice to know that for my sons 2nd birthday, I was only 4lbs heavier than when I found out I was pregnant. I hope that my active lifestyle and eating healthy shows him how to treat his own body as he grows up!

3 Weeks Remaining In This Round!
So as the end draws near, I have some good news! I now weigh 130lbs and my Abs are 36 inches, Waist 38.5, Tummy is 38. I have lost 5lbs and 3 inches in the 3 weeks since my last post. That means since Nov 22 2010 I have lost 18lbs and 9 inches off my mid section!!!
In the next 3 weeks I hope to loose at least another 5 lbs to be at 125lbs in time for my son's 2nd Birthday! I have been working out regularly at the YMCA in Medicine Hat and in Calgary and eating healthy.
I looked into the Paleo Diet and have used some recipies and ideas to go with my Body for Life plan. It seems to be working well and I am enjoying the change up. I'm excited to see what will happen by May 1!

The Start of a New Me!
Wow times flies! It's been 4 months since my last post!
-My new house is awesome. I'm still unpacking boxes and trying to be critical of what I really need and want in my home. I don't want it to be cluttered and I'm sure that other people will give some of my things a good home. I've also been painting most of the rooms and decorating them to give the house my 'touch'.
-My baby boy isn't so little anymore! He's almost 2 (at the end of April) and had 18 teeth at 18 months. I weaned him at 19 months and although it was tough, we made it through! My parents got him a 'big boy' bed for Christmas and he has been enjoying it very much. Bedtime is generally easy with reading stories and then turning off the light for some snuggle time as he falls asleep.
-I decided while I was pregnant that he would be tri-lingual. I would teach him Hungarian at home and he would go to a French school in addition to English. It has been going very well. I say everything 2 times: once in English and again in Hungarian. He understands the Hungarian, but speaks English. (I'll ask in Hungarian to get his shoes, he says in English "shoes!" and goes and gets them. It's pretty cool!)
-Back in November, I met a very special person who motivated me to become healthier and loose my baby weight. It was just the push I needed! Since then I have been going to the Y and Folk Dance regularly, have been eating better and been trying to manage my time better too.
As of November 22 2010 I weighed 148lbs and my numbers were not so good.
Since then I have lost 13 lbs and 6 inches! I now weigh 135lbs and my numbers are A:37.5 W: 39 T:39 (Going back through my old posts, I realize I am slightly better than where I was last June. *sigh*) I hope to loose 10lbs in 6 weeks, so I will be 125lbs by May 1 2011! This is important to me because my son will be 2 years old at that date and I was 124lbs before I was pregnant. (I lost 30lbs to get to that! I did it before, I am doing it again!) With his Birthday party will come a more healthier, fitter me with a new haircut. I will be a yummy mommy!
